With an extremely successful year drawing to a close, Rightsize CEO Mason Awtry took some time to reflect on the year’s milestones, and look ahead to 2017.

Rightsize started the year with a bang, launching a new and innovative website with a refreshed logo and tag line to represent the ongoing evolution of the company’s brand. The new website provides business partners and tenants with an enhanced user experience, while incorporating the company’s new visual identity and delivering robust blog content focused on market trends, timely news and initiatives.

“2016 has been a banner year for Rightsize. We continue to lead the charge in office transitions, providing clients with our unique accelerated delivery model and defining and addressing the unique needs of each client’s project, whether it’s an office expansion, relocation, or consolidation,” says Awtry. “Our dedicated team of professionals have bolstered our opportunities and we are so grateful for all that they bring to the table.”

Rightsize’s Expanded Presence in 2016

As Rightsize continues to be an industry leader in office interiors, the company expanded its presence this year with two new locations, including a new flagship sales and design center in the Chase tower in downtown Milwaukee, along with a new showroom within Bamboo Detroit, the city’s largest co-working community located within the Julian C. Madison Building.

As the shared workspace concept continues to gain traction within the modern office, Rightsize’s partnership with Bamboo coincides with the company’s commitment to stay on the forefront of growing trends, while supporting the innovative startups and diverse group of Detroit-based entrepreneurs. Both locations are well-aligned with Rightsize’s progressive company culture.

“Sustained growth has allowed Rightsize to continuously expand our reach within major market sectors, and new locations ensure that we continue to employ our industry leading PLAN, FURNISH and SERVICE approach as we assist customers with seamless workplace transitions,” said Awtry.

Additional partnerships included one with the Naperville Chamber of Commerce (NACC) as Rightsize was charged with a renovation plan to drive the Chamber’s rebranding initiative. Through this partnership, Rightsize will assist in creating a more collaborative working environment. The office renovation will include an interactive media space where Chamber staff will be able to meet with current and prospective members.

Company Growth: Welcoming New Members to the Team

“At Rightsize, we believe that our employees are at the center of our operation. We are committed to attracting and retaining the best staff within the office interiors industry; this benefits our company but ultimately, our customers are the ones who benefit from our team of talented and seasoned experts,” says Awtry.

In 2017, Rightsize plans to expand sales, design and project management teams within its various office locations, adding up to 25 employees to accommodate increasing business and client needs. The company continues to provide the tools, environment and culture necessary to enable positive development. Rightsize provides access to training programs that foster personal and professional growth—providing an environment where workers can thrive.

Office Trend Forecast for the Upcoming Year

Although the exploration of virtual reality (VR) within the real estate industry is in its early stages, many are predicting that it will quickly become a game changer. VR accessories such as virtual reality headsets allow buyers to view a property, room by room – ease of access has never been this convenient.

Rightsize is on the front end of this trend and will leverage innovative solutions as it launches a significant technology initiative in early 2017 geared towards providing customers with the convenience of virtual reality and 3D experiences. As the industry moves from fewer face-to-face interactions to more technology-based interactions, Rightsize understands the importance of leveraging leading industry tools to provide best-in-class experiences.

Awtry is optimistic about 2017 as the company harnesses the momentum of 2016 and embraces the possibilities within the industry. “Our business is growing and thriving and this is a great close to the year,” notes Awtry. “Innovation will continue to be a leading theme for Rightsize in the new year. We have no intentions of slowing down; here’s to another record-breaking year.”
