Rightsize worked on two projects almost concurrently for a worldwide insurance company that is a global provider of innovative property, casualty and specialty insurance and reinsurance solutions. Rightsize worked in Philadelphia to expand and refurbish an existing space, while the project in Dallas required working with the architect on hand to furnish a brand new space.
The project manager for the client sought out Rightsize for their ability to turn things around on a tight schedule, in the case of the Dallas location, three to six months. There was also a need for some price sensitivity in terms of the required FF&E.
“They have a wide selection of secondary offerings, as well as good alternatives to some of the new products out there,” said the project manager.
The client wanted products with a high-end look that would mirror what had been done in the Philadelphia location for offices that have a global appeal. Rightsize filled the 8,868 square-foot space, with modern furnishings for the 43 employees who would be working there.
“We did everything from workstations and private offices to lounge seating and a break room for them,” said Rightsize Workplace Solutions Director, Shannon Filo. “We managed their space planning and design, a full package of furniture and finish options, as well as the delivery and installation.”
Filo met the challenges inherent with working out of state alongside both an architect and a project manager with ease, so much so that Rightsize continues to utilize his services on other projects.
“I always reach out to them for help with construction pricing and we continue to include them in the mix in a competitive bid negotiation,” said the project manager. “I look for Rightsize to be a little more reasonable and a little more thoughtful in coming up with creative solutions that are a good value.”
The client and the project manager were pleased with the end result at both locations, with an order for additional furniture shortly after the Dallas project was complete.
