The executives in this family-owned company handling private aviation turned to Rightsize to give their offices a fresh, modern update. Though their large hangar in a suburb of Chicago houses private aircraft as well as maintenance and aircrew, the executive offices were the focus for this particular remodel.
The 5,000-square-foot project involved remodeling seven executive offices and a conference room within a three-month timeframe. Workplace Solutions Manager Heather Conard considers it one of the easiest projects she has worked on.
“We were able to iron out everything they wanted in one, hour-long visit at our Chicago showroom,” said Conard. “We installed all new office furnishings at a value price point. The design wasn’t completely contemporary, but incorporated functional, clean lines with some additional storage. The executives had no major specific must-haves, so it wasn’t too hard of a sell.”
New, value-added furniture included a Cherryman reception desk, private office desks, meeting table and task seating. The conference room featured a new value-added Office Star table and Regency seating. Preowned Meridian lateral files provided the additional needed storage.
“Initially they just wanted it delivered to the hangar and once it was delivered they decided they wanted assistance with installation,” said Conard. “Sometimes it gets difficult for people to visualize until they see all the boxes and then they realize the value added in having someone else do the install for them.”
