We asked three Rightsize veteran designers to share with us their reasons why design matters.
Company Culture: Design starts with company culture. “People are spending more time in the office than their own home,” says Rightsize Chicago Team Leader, Ruth Minnick. When culture and morale is high, people are willing to work harder—something that can impact a business’s bottom line.
Performance: The way a space looks and feels will impact the employee morale and overall productivity. “If you like the space you work in, you will perform better,” says Rightsize Senior Account Manager Shannon Filo. Using design to create a workplace that is pleasant and properly configured can go a long way.
Efficiency: From how different departments interact to the height of the desks, design impacts efficiency in the workplace. “We as experts have that knowledge where we can make suggestions that wouldn’t come to mind for the average person,” says Rightsize account manager Aryn Shaw. Improving your space’s efficiency, will play a role in the overall environment for employees and visitors alike.
