When a manufacturing company moved to a new office in Rolling Meadows, Illinois, the company’s leadership saw the space as a blank canvas to decorate. The company partnered with Rightsize Facility to take advantage of this opportunity to refresh its image by planning and furnishing a bright, contemporary workspace.

“The main goals for the project were to make the space more modern, bring in more light, and add touches of their main brand color – blue – to boost brand awareness,” said Ashley Strubel, Workplace Solutions Manager at Rightsize. “With these priorities in mind, we created a more functional and appealing working environment for the client.”

The company is planning to stay in the space for an extended period of time, so it was crucial to plan a space and select furnishings that will meet employees’ needs for many years to come. Rightsize implemented an open design for workstations and a white laminate finish throughout the space. Both design choices make the office look spacious and inviting to employees and visitors alike.

“Space planning was a breeze since they knew exactly what they were looking for,” said Strubel. “We were able to help their ideas come to life by showing them product at our warehouse and working with finish selections on all of the furniture specified.”

Rightsize utilized a BLENDED SOLUTION of new, remanufactured, and pre-owned furniture in the office, including DeskMakers TeamWorx workstations, OFC Liberty chairs, Haworth Very stack chairs, and Herman Miller filing solutions. The completed office provides the welcoming and professional atmosphere that the client had envisioned.

“I feel that we not only met the client’s expectations but exceeded them,” said Strubel. “They loved the furniture and really appreciated all of the hard work the team put in. Anytime we go to visit, they always give us a hug and welcome us in like family.”
